The Natural You Hair Care System

COMING SOON!!

I am so excited about our new line of product. When I first started formulated I remember thinking I wanted to be WOW'ed at the results. It was my goal to make each product remind me of some of my favorites over my twenty four years as a cosmetologist.

Every facet was important, the feel of it in my palms. The way it glide down the hair shaft effortless. Even more important is the way my hands felt after rinsing the product off, what it left behind. That silky velvety smoothness, the soft suppleness left even after rinsing.

To say I wanted the shampoo to cleanse without stripping offering conditioning effects that allowed for detangling. Or the conditioners to penetrate the cuticle working from the inside out to restore, nourish and fortify hair. Or that the detangler gives so much slip it melts away knots and each styling aid performs above standard, is a given.

While we are still in our testing phase, we have given our line to select naturals to try in hopes they will fall in love and The Natural You will become their staples.

We can not wait to send our babies out into the world!!!

The second phase of testing will include a second round of trials, subscribe to our blog and become one of our Naturalista and get your free sample kit.

WE WANT YOU TO LOVE US!!!!!

The Benefits of "EATING RIGHT","EXERCISING" and"EXFOLIATING" the skin.

Let's Talk About

I am 100% in agreement with the benefits of exfoliating this is my favorite skin care regimen, the method of sloughing away the outer most skin surface (dead skin) exfoliation is a skin care ritual that dates back hundreds of years, In the middle ages Egyptians used wine as a chemical exfoliant.

What happens when you exfoliate? .........New skin cells are created in the skin's lower layer, the dermis. With time, cells migrate to the surface of the skin and become more acidic and they die(this occurs about every 30 days) and become saturated with keratin(keratin, protects the skin from the outside elements). A side of effect of aging, and after menopause in women, the natural process of skin erosion becomes uneven, which gives skin a dry and rough look. Exfoliation removes the outer layer to reveal the newer skin beneath.
Thank God for this shedding of the outer layer, because it does our skin a favor and unclogs pores, keeps skin clean, and helps reduce acne breakouts. Remember, exfoliation should always be done after cleansing the skin. Ladies let us not forget our men, I know I have heard men say I don't do that(exfoliate) that's for women, well you just tell him, exfoliation is important for men because it exposes the hair follicles, allowing a better shave .As much as I love it, it is possible to overly exfoliate, which dries and irritates the skin. Remember the face is the part of the body most sensitive to exfoliation. We all know that dry skin can lead to wrinkle development. The Natural You "Scrumptious Scrub"s are great for exfoliating.

Remember beautiful skin starts from the inside, what you put into your body shows on the outside. It is very important to maintain a well balanced diet ,eating 5 or 6 small meals daily this not only controls your weight, but maintains healthy skin, that is noticeably by a natural glow, elasticity, and the skin's ability to regenerate itself. I know we can all testify that when we were younger you could get a small scar or scratch and a week or two later you can't pinpoint the spot where the scar was, that is because as kids we are more active running jumping and playing which creates exercising without thought, this is a great form of detoxification and of one way to promote healthy cell regeneration.

If you are exercising regularly you are more than likely sweating and sweating is good because sweat carries toxins to the skin surface, which is where a great skin cleanser comes into play, soap would not be a great source of cleanser because soap today typically are not soap but are detergents. They are are less expensive and easier to manufacture, because the skin on the face is more sensitive then that on the hand and other parts of the body soap has a more drying effect and therefore is more damaging than beneficial.

Our whipped Creme is our featured product for the month of November.
Each month we will have a product displayed and tell you about the product as well as offer it at a discount price.

Our Whipped Creme is from our naturally enhanced line and is made from 50% of shea butter, it is a lighter lotion as opposed to our Body Souffle. It is designed for people who like a lighter veil but need the lasting moisture. This is my everyday lotion although I use the Body Souffle at night, this lotion works extremely well when used in conjunction with our body scrubs, after exfoilating your lotion easily absorbs into your skin increasing moisture and lasting all day.

Comme La Soie

Comme La Soie means " It's Like Silk" in french.  Two things I've always wanted to do learn to speak a foreign language(done) and create my own body lotion.
the latter was once a dream I thought unobtainable, but being a person who never  says never, this dream is now a reality.
All things beauty course through my veins, I'm  fortunate enough to call this industry my day job. A job I would gladly perform even if I never got paid a dollar.

My desire to start Comme La Soie, was born from a need to combat my excessively dry skin. I knew I could accomplish anything I put my mind to, but when I actually formulated a bottle of lotion I danced for hours. Well,  maybe not hours but I was beaming with pride.

I couldn't wait to share my lotion with my family and friends and to my utter surprise they began to pay me actual money. I was in business. I began mixing and researching other ingredients until I had a complete line of lotions gels and scrubs. After some legal formalities Comme La Soie was born, and here we are.

The success of Comme La Soie, was overwhelming.  I received constant request to create individual signature lotions for customers and their business. Because of this I decided I want to keep the integrity of Comme La Soie, but offer a business model  that would allow me to share this wonderful product with others, while allowing them to be profitable as well.
This idea birthed  Natural Origin a botanical and organic based line of bath and body products, a direct sales division boasting the same high standards and quality products our clientele has grown to love.  We have created an opportunity for women to own a business selling a line of products they already have confidence in. Start looking out for Natural Origin's Blog we will launch in January 09.

Stop by and check out our website and continue to blog with us, I will offer specials here on our product line, advise on product purchase be it Comme La Soie or not, and keep you posted on our success. I will also feature other members of my community and their business.
